Meet The Artist

I’m Dawn Marie Kelly, a makeup artist from the beautiful Nassau, Bahamas. A graduate of The College of The Bahamas, lover of beauty, fashion and all things girly!

As a teenager the art of makeup flourished into existence, as I  became familiar with the world of pageantry through my cousin. I often sat intently as my cousin got ready for every pageant activity. Through this, I began learning professional techniques and discovered her very own personal tips and tricks for applying makeup. 

​

Initially, makeup was just a hobby, years later, it developed into an outlet for me to express myself. The more I applied makeup on different faces shapes, worked with various hues and perfected makeup application techniques, the art became alive. I fell in love!

 Upon discovery I sought out different avenues to expand my expertise. Firstly, I started a part-time job at Eye Candy Makeup Store (Local store here in The Bahamas). Further, I enrolled myself in a 1-on-1 course with a local freelance mua Gail Clarke and the topper an intense training course with Alaina Salsbury of Color Du Jour. Completing each gave me the confidence I needed and cemented that makeup is truly my first love.

Here begins the first major step, by offering part-time services as a freelance makeup artist. I intend for this experience to be like no other. I pride myself on self-love and encouragement through each brush stroke applied to my clients; a passion to help women alike unlock their inner glow.
